...now that you say that, I vaguely remember a coworker talking about a rust series a few years ago. There's only a few people that could have been - I'll pick the corresponding brains and get back to you if I find an answer.

I will be better next time, I understand how fucked up that was. It was just the stress of everything, she knew my job was thinking about firing me at a couple points, and she still decides it's okay to stress me out, especially to that level. It was just the stress of it all that was killing me. I couldn't get her to come out after that, hang ups, flaking on dates, etc. (before I called) and she was starting to really scare me. I just completely lost my mind.

I was told in an online forum discussing it that he isn't releasing the files because he learned that Dems altered/forged the files to make trump look bad and the Dems look great Truth means nothing to these people

That would be a great feature. I highly dislike the algorithm YouTube & co serve - as it is designed like a tar pit, just to keep you scrolling. But a Human curated list is basically like getting recommendations from a colleague.

when people say something to the effect of “all {arbitrary group of people} are {negative thing}” then that is bigotry. there are a shitload if problems with a lot of men, toxic masculinity, male dominated subcultures… etc…. if you act like all of them do these shitty things, then that’s misandry.

Ever since Rush Limbaugh, the Republican strategy has been to oppose everything the Democrats do. It's the only way they can stay relevant.

At the end of season 4 there was a short clip about some rangers preserving human history because we fucked ourselves. But then the next scene implies that humans take the outward appearance of the Vorlon.

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2025/9/17/brazils-bolsonaro-taken-to-hospital-after-feeling-unwell I know this is old but Bolsonaro went to the hospital again. If I get any of these predictions right, it’ll be 50 hospital stays for Bolsonaro. Dude got bit by a large, flightless bird while in COVID quarantine. He’s so good at going to the hospital. Are you okay with a self-hosted solution? If so, you could, for example, self-host FreshRSS ^[1]^, and then use it to scrape a feed using XPath ^[2]^. I can elaborate further on the method if you are interested. ::: spoiler References Type: Website. Title: "FreshRSS". Publisher: "FreshRSS". Accessed: 2025-09-17T01:39Z. Ok so british fast food is definitely very heavy on meat pies and chips (although I should point out that there's a lot of crossover with south Asian fast food and there are other fast food standards like baked potatoes and various sandwiches). And where the confusion lies is that Brits only really eat British fast food or foreign restaurant food because why would you go to a restaurant to eat the same food you make at home? But there's a whole load of really nice food that just never gets sold in the restaurants. It's definitely British cuisine. British Christmas food is heavily spiced full of dried fruit and marinated in rum or brandy (rum is better), There are few deserts that can measure up to a well made apple crumble or sticky toffee pudding, and haggis is such a satisfying dish that it's inspired poetry. Fair fa’ your honest, sonsie face, Great Chieftain o’ the Puddin-race! Aboon them a’ ye tak your place, Painch, tripe, or thairm: Weel are ye wordy of a grace As lang ‘s my arm. The groaning trencher there ye fill, Your hurdies like a distant hill, Your pin wad help to mend a mill In time o’ need, While thro’ your pores the dews distil Like amber bead. His knife see Rustic-labour dight, An’ cut ye up wi’ ready slight, Trenching your gushing entrails bright, Like onie ditch; And then, O what a glorious sight, Warm-reekin, rich! Then, horn for horn, they stretch an’ strive: Deil tak the hindmost, on they drive, Till a’ their weel-swall’d kytes belyve Are bent like drums; Then auld Guidman, maist like to rive, Bethankit hums. Is there that owre his French ragout, Or olio that wad staw a sow, Or fricassee wad mak her spew Wi’ perfect sconner, Looks down wi’ sneering, scornfu’ view On sic a dinner? Poor devil! see him owre his trash, As feckless as a wither’d rash, His spindle shank a guid whip-lash, His nieve a nit; Thro’ bluidy flood or field to dash, O how unfit! But mark the Rustic, haggis-fed, The trembling earth resounds his tread, Clap in his walie nieve a blade, He’ll make it whissle; An’ legs, an’ arms, an’ heads will sned, Like taps o’ thrissle. Ye Pow’rs wha mak mankind your care, And dish them out their bill o’ fare, Auld Scotland wants nae skinking ware That jaups in luggies; But, if ye wish her gratefu’ prayer, Gie her a Haggis!

Again, your ISP does DSCP markings. They will only benefit you if you are facing congestion issues inside your local network. When that external FaceTime call packet is received by your router, if you receive it at all because your ISP doesn't care about markings, and you are having Internet issues, it's going to reach your end point crazy fast inside your LAN, but I bet the call will drop regardless because the UDP steam is either too jittered, or completely frozen anyway because of the upstream ISP issue. It's great to configure this to understand the principle, but I've been in the industry long enough to know when QoS is required over a 10MB MPLS pipe, and not required over a 1GB+ pipe. The pipes are so big today that flow control has little use case any longer and can cause more issues and hand holding configuration than necessary. I guess what I'm trying to say is if you're having issues with your home Internet, you will see it regardless of how much mitigation you try to configure inside your own LAN.
