    It’s not that difficult… you pay an ‘ad tariff’ on every product you buy which companies then give to ad companies. So long as the ad companies can fake views that they can show companies that ‘line go up’ everyones happy… except you because everything you buy is double what it would be without advertising being rammed down your throat! And the increase in product costs is just blamed on immigration, race or whatever other b/s people are stupid enough to believe. ‍️

    For short distances, Bolt Drive has very good van pricing actually. Anything longer, there's a mechanic in my hometown whose van has a big turbo setup and a subwoofer. Fast n loud piece of junk, feels like it's gonna fall apart, but he charges 25 euros a day and doesn't care how much you drive.

    It's part of the standard. It's slightly different for each USB verision. USB 2.0 starts at 100mA at 5V and the device can negotiate up to 500mA, if the host can deliver.

    I always found this one interesting because I've talked to several people who work with and maintain Elevators and they all take the stairs unless they absolutely have to. The requirements for them are pretty intense but the potential for catastrophic failure is supposedly just as intense.

    TBF, if your parents did the stock investment themselves, it's pretty likely that they would have lost most of it, too. Still better chances than the lottery, though.
