The music is just off. Like........it works but it's for sure not Mick Gordon. This feels like I've got Mudvayne's practice tapes playing over the gameplay.

      Is Doom Beatsaber?

*edit: Dang, in retrospect I see how this comment came out wrong. I absolutely love the music from Doom, even though I've never played. So hearing that the music is lacking on this franchise specifically is a real shame, and I do mean that. What I meant, however, is that this little snippet of gameplay literally looks like an elaborate Beastsaber mod rather than actual Doom. With the movement, the wave shield with the color you're supposed to hit vs dodge, the carefully timed attacks, it all looks like a rhythm game.

I haven't played yet, but the music in the trailers wasn't that special.

Imma be honest though, while the music in 2016 and Eternal is great on its own, in the moment, while fighting, I really didn't care, and was more concerned about surviving and blasting demons. I just re-played Eternal, and I couldn't tell you a single music track that I remember.

Edit: Just finished the first level. By default, the sound effects are so loud, that I barely hear the music during a fight, which is fine by me. Just like in the previous games, outside of combat it's mostly ambient and no music.
