I don't have any horse in this race but... how ugly, dirty and bloody can this get in a state where gun owning and carrying is very common?
And I'm not even considering bystanders caught in crossfire.
How ugly can it get if someone decides to shoot on sight a gang like this? And other people join as they start hearing exchanged fire?
They want an excuse to implement martial law.
If this happens then they have all the reason to bypass all due process and just oppress everyone.
They want it to go this way. They wanted the National guard to get involved in California's "riots". They are looking for the excuse to throw out the courts, the house, the Senate, the supreme Court... Literally everyone from any say in what happens or any ability to overturn, stop or otherwise impede their ability to control everyone and everything.
The fucking boot licker repubtards are making sure that it happens, and they'll act like so many others, shocked, when they end up under the boot of the people they voted for.
As an outsider looking in, this reality is extremely obvious to me. Is it somehow not clear to Americans?

So, one could argue that the well regulated militia in question is constituted by the National Guard, as they nominally are the armed forces of individual States, and can be nationalized under certain circumstances.
Except for the fact that Trump just nationalized the California National Guard when he's nominally not supposed to....
The way the legal system in the US works is just incredible. There are things that are very much illegal, but if the president does them apparently everyone is just fine with it.

It's not shame they feel, it's about self-preservation. They know that if everyone knew who they were they would be reprisals.
If anybody knew who any of these guys were, and worked out where they lived, I wouldn't give them 24 hours. Eventually they'll deport the wrong person and someone with a gun will decide that the ends justify the means, and that'll be that. It will probably spark a massive military escalation on trump's part, but it won't matter to them.
