      Am I crazy to think that actors with an interest to destabilise Europe pay or encourage acts like these?

      Find a mentally unstable person, preferable of foreign background, and try to get them to commit acts of violence, and then watch the rise of the far right as a direct consequence.
      With most, if not all, of the far right being anti EU and pro Russia.

        We've had that discussion in Germany at least since the third car-based attack in this current election period.

        There's also proof for Russia destabilizing Afghanistan by paying for attacks, and some of those agents having ended up in Germany: https://archive.ph/EeCY1 [German].
