Meloni already freed the arrested suspected war criminal, defying an ICC arrest warrant back in January. However since then Italy doubled down to ensure, that their "partners" stay in power in Libya. Euphemistically referred to as "Libyan coast guard", Italy and the EU rely on slave traders, human traffickers, rapists, torturers and murderers to "protect" the EU from more African refugees.
