      damn, hopefully saudi arabia, qatar, dubai, oman, egypt, or any other trillion dollar petro states can step up and help out

      maybe egypt needs to open the gates so they can let aid in?

        They don't give a shit. Anyone who shows any kind of help or sympathy will be pressured to take on what? 1.5 million people? No one in that area wants that kind injection of foreigners.

              Egypt tightly restricts the opening of the Rafah crossing, and has kept it shut during previous Israeli bombardments of Gaza in 2021, 2014, and 2008. Since a period of heightened conflict between the Egyptian military and jihadists in the Sinai peninsula began in 2013, Egypt has vastly curtailed movement through the crossing, and banned the entry of aid organisations and journalists into northern Sinai. Palestinians accuse Egypt of bolstering Israel’s 16-year blockade by essentially closing their one exit route out of Gaza.

                The Philadelphi corridor, which is the border separating Egypt and Gaza is currently controlled by and occupied by Israel, as they refused to withdraw from it as stipulated in the previous ceasefire agreement that they largely ignored.
