What's a movie you can watch often and it never gets old?
-
Evolution.
It knows what it is, and nobody in it is under some illusion that they're making some masterpiece of cinema. That is not at all a criticism or even backhanded compliment. I like when the actors have fun with the things they're working on. I mean, who doesn't love seen behind the scenes of Ian Mckellen slapping a dummy of Sean Aston around.
It's fun, it's ridiculous, and it leans into it a bit.
Plus they came up with the Thanos Weakness a long time before the avengers fans.

Ghostbusters. Absolute perfection.

For me it's The Matrix.
I never like to retread old ground, but this one's an exception. It's hard to overstate how much it blew our minds 26 years ago. I might have a soft spot for it too because I was raised sheltered and it was the first rated R movie I saw.
I saw The Matrix a few times in theaters and watched it regularly when the dvd came out.

I like to shut my brain off and have simple entertainment that doesn’t require much thinking during watching watch time.
My favourite movie of all time is Enemy 2013 and Black Swan but these are movies that go under your skin and everytime I watch them I have to go into spirals of overthinking etc while the above mentioned movies don’t give me that.

Hackers. Yes, it's corny - cheesy, even - but it had a great cast with awesome chemistry, and it did a great job at capturing the zeitgeist of hacker/punk culture. Plus so many memorable quotes...
