U.S. to End Vaccine Funds for Poor Countries , One milion children will die as result

Cruelty and death to poor people and more pandemics for everyone! The American way.

But at least they were born, and isn’t that all that counts?

As always. The Cruelty Is the point.

Well, this is one of those moments when you can't just call the USA shit. It's not like they owe something to those poor countries. The USA helped them for some reason but now stops. It is completely wrong to take that help for granted and now demand it.
Yeah, the oligarchs really need the 4.5 trillion in tax cuts!

This makes us all sicker

It wasn't just 'for some reason' it was strategic. I wouldn't expect Trump to get it, but I'd hope a random person on the internet would have more sense than the President.
Providing vaccines to third world countries acted as a level of prevention by keeping these diseases from spreading to our country or our trading partners.
More pragmatically, providing this service allowed the US to push their influence on other countries too. Whether through providing aid, or threatening to withhold aid, this service acts as a tool for the US government to maintain their superiority on the world stage.
Also, from a more fucked up perspective, keeping a healthy population of third world people is crucial to the exploitative nature of capitalism and its nonstop growth.

As US Withdraws From WHO, China Supercharges Its Public Health Diplomacy
Over the course of two decades, China has built a public health aid program for the world, turbocharged by the pandemic. As the U.S. retreats, China will only garner more influence globally.
Reminds me of the old quote:
Every time China visits we get a hospital, every time Britain visits we get a lecture.
~ Dr Lubinda Haabazoka, Director of the University of Zambia Graduate School of Business and former President of the Economics Association of Zambia

"Many children will die, but that is a sacrifice I am willing to make."

As always. The Cruelty Is the point.
It’s not. The cruelty is a means to ensuring they remain in power. Remaining in power no matter what is the point.

That's not how herd immunity works. If we don't have herd immunity, we all suffer pandemics. But, by all means, continue being a dick. I hope you wear shirts everywhere you go so people know to avoid being friends with you. I can't imagine wanting to be around someone who thinks the world should grovel at your feet for giving them humanitarian aid.

Your position is understandable. Profits. Obviously Trump thinks that these profits are smaller than spends on vaccines. So dismissing these vaccinations might be stupid but that surely doesn't deserve the "evil" epithet. Evil would be invade those countries and stop other countries from providing free vaccines. Just stopping doing something nice for free isn't cruel/evil regardless of the reasons.

You are entirely avoiding the “reduces illness imported from other countries” and “increase soft power” so you could argue your own argument about “money” great work!

These arguments are irrelevant. I'm not talking about profits/being logical/ etc (that's Trump's problem). I say that the words EVIL/CRUEL don't fit here for the USA doesn't do anything evil, they just stopped doing good.
As soon as you find some different terminology like stupid, shortsighted or whatever, I will stop arguing.
-
Ok, try to explain without hysteria and insults why the USA is obligated to provide vaccines to other countries.
Eradicating infectious diseases (that don't respect borders) is a net positive for everyone.
