Yeah, I tend to be biased towards power metal, symphonic metal, and various '80s groups that are somewhere on the border between "hard rock" and "metal". I know that's not everyone's cup of tea.

Atreyu - Bleeding Mascara, just punches you in the face with an awesome intro.
That was one of the songs that introduced me to Metalcore. I remember making a mix with that, My Last Serenade, some Folly, and some Anah Aevia, a band I can't find anything by these days.
