If I wanted to have a maximally downvoted post, how would I go about accomplishing that?
-
I don't want to be blocked or ignored, just have one post with a few hundred downvotes to see what the level is like on Lemmy. Also, I don't mean it in the sense of the famous reddit test post that said it should not be upvoted. I mean, I want to know how to construct a post, and where to put it, that will get it downvoted hard. I don't think asklemmy will work. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Post about how Windows isn't that bad in any Linux community.
Post about how any popular AAA title isn't that bad in any gaming community.
Post about how capitalism isn't that bad in any lemmy.ml community.

You gotta figure out a way to ride the line just short of getting banned.

Thank you. I'll put that on my agenda. Any suggestions for where to put a post about how the sales of AAA games for Windows is evidence of the superiority of capitalism?

Good point. I guess that's what I'm trying to figure out.

Borrow my account and say things that most people should be in agreement about? Sometimes I really just don’t understand

You could also spout bigoted garbage or claim to kick dogs and blow cats but you would also quickly be banned and the post/comment removed, putting a limit on how many down votes you receive.

The problem with .ml shitposting is that it will almost immediately get removed. If it does start to propagate around to other instances, people will immediately recognize it as a troll post and it will get upvoted.
Trolling ml takes finesse and it's the IRL epitome of "opposite day" over there.

Two of them will get your post removed and permabanned, one is worth a try but just have to pick the right game

Clarifying for anyone looking at my votes: I downvoted to help, not because I disagree.
We got you, OP!

Post conservative stuff in a conservative community. You won't get banned, and there's plenty of people who's activism consists of downvoting things they disagree with

Yeah, I think the first one is the most likely path.

Off topic vegan rant on a community that doesn't really remove posts? Bonus points for "carnist".
