Wholesome ending and probably a great laugh !

It’s really clear with that movie that the original ending was for the guy to stay dead. The movie chickens out and loses its real pathos by letting him both sacrifice himself and still get to be alive again.

One time I was in a situation where everybody clapped. But I can't tell anybody about it now, as they won't believe it.
Well, now I want to know what the situation was!

Gasped? Seems a bit gullible.
If this story is even real, I don't think the kid was trying to make a joke. And if you heard a kid saying they remember things from before they were born, you might not believe them but it'd still raise an eyebrow

(And yeah, Jesus stayed dead. He was a messianic figure who was supposed to topple the Roman occupiers, died, and then the early Jewish Christian community cope gradually became that he came back to life. Him staying dead didn’t work well with test audiences, in other words.)

Children say stupid made up shit all the time. My eyebrows are staying in their natural resting spot.

Pretty sure they just made it up.

Brilliant. I wish more kids would troll adults like this.
The amount of correcting I've had to do and clarifications I've needed to get/give from/to an elementary school kid, from their sheer lack of knowing what the fuck is going on around them at all times, tells me that no, we don't need more kids trolling adults. They do it naturally and constantly.
It's fucking hilarious most times, though.

Elfen Lied, that weird mediocre anime/manga that got popular in the midnaughts for being a horny gore fest does it constantly, at least once an issue.
Oh, you watched this guy get hacked apart limb from limb? Don’t worry, he’ll be back next issue to form a relationship with a girl half his age.

Sometimes kids pull things out of mid air that you would never expect them to say and don't know from where they came. Sometimes those things are wise, are prophetic, are really weird, or are just really funny. If you don't raise an eyebrow sometimes, you're not enjoying your time with those kids enough. My kids are wise, prophetic, weird, and funny. Everyone around them gets a kick out of the stuff they say.
