    Toronto, Canada is also lovely

I was just at a Gaza fundraiser show that had Israeli anti-genocide voices in it (in addition to Palestinian performers)

Uff... I'm European, lived in Mexico for decades and now live in Vancouver and let me tell you... I visited Toronto once and will not again, to me (personally) it's a dystopian car parking lot.

Not saying anything bad about the people, they were all lovely and so, but the city, uff, it's a fugly carbrainwreck

        Sorry, just my personal opinion

I know of a few people who didn't like it when they visited, and every single one of them said they drove everywhere. Yes there's parking lots everywhere (mostly underground bc snow), but you don't need a car. You need to experience it on foot and by street car, that's how you find all the little hidden gems. The transit will get you most places.

There's also a lot of greenery and parks everywhere. Trinity Bellwoods and Queen's are my favorites.
