I don't want to be fair to fascists but the current social context does align leftism with labeling the fascists/GOP as "fascists".
Similarly to how 15 years ago someone shouting "let's go, Brandon!" would make you check that hadn't been teleported into the middle of a little league baseball game versus now where you just check how close the nearest exit is.
Edit:
We know who the fascists are. They know they're fascists. There's no reason to act like this was some Rube-Goldbergian word trap that caught out a hidden impostor. This just tripped up an idiot who probably hasn't mastered walking and using slurs at the same time yet. Their masks have already been torn off ages ago. If y'all think playing coy with fascists is some great, newsrag "SLAM" then have fun.
I suppose I shouldn't say anything bad about Nazis, either, since the GOP gets compared to Nazis? Give me a break. Maybe instead of listening for dog-whistles, they should look into why those comparisons are being made in the first place.
-
Like, "murder is illegal"? Cuz, that's one lol
Specifically, any one party shouldn't be able to take advantage of a momentary shift in power due to an assassination of a member in the other party.

Do I sound like I care that Nazis are malding? If so, pardon me. I'm just saying it doesn't feel like much of a gotcha to say "they're answering to 'fascists'!" when they're rightfully called "fascist" more than their political party nowadays.

It's kinda "fellow kids" but also a lot people don't know the rules of the games they play.
This one's a fascist tho, so fuck them.
I love threads where there's the one person downvoting a benign comment, like "fuck fascists." It must be lonely on Lemmy for those people. I sure hope it is.
Suffer being ostracized, downvoting fascist.

Unfortunately there seem to be a not-insignificant number of accelerationist tankies on various instances, so I'm sure fascists habe someone to hold hands with and trash on the rest of the political spectrum.

Um, actually Wish is always cast at level 9.
As of this month I am 31 years clean from D&D. And even I knew that wish is always cast at level 9.
-
Can't cast Wish @ level 9. Gotta be at least level 17. Git good newb
But it's a 9th level spell. Don't make me bust out the chart.

Then you don't need to specify what level it's cast at, it's level 9 by default. Get outnerded

DnD is also a game that utilizes table rules pretty much all the time. It's possible that his DM gave more flexible rules, I know my DM will if you have a convincing argument.
But also, buddy definitely says "you're one of the good ones" to his black coworkers

And how do you incentivise politicians to follow that rule?

Um, actually Wish is always cast at level 9.
Um acktshually you can cast Limited Wish as a 7th level in Pathfinder
-
Weird how every anticommunism turns out to be fascism putting on a performance for libs.
Not in Eastern Europe. People hate the communists here. They have ruined their countries, basically occupied them.

Um, actually Limited Wish is not Wish.

For some reason there seems to be this idea that everything must either be fascist or communist or somewhere between. Like they don't believe in the existence of other political philosophies.
They're obsessed with the political spectrum being one-dimensional, it isn't.
Binary thinking is inherently limiting for complex issues, we aren't computers we don't need to look at everything like a boolean

The next chant should be "death to fascism, death to capitalism"
Fascism is a feature of capitalism, not a bug. We need to go back to the correct timeline. Socialism was the improvable system. Capitalism is social darwinism (read: a lie)
Either one taken to its extreme ends with some sort of despotism. You really need both working together to keep each other in check.

Agree with antifascist stuff. Just nitpicking the fascist idiot's idiotic words: what the hell is an example of a non-politically-motivated assassination?? isn't every assassination politically motivated?

Assassination of passion.

wrote on last edited by [email protected]The old 3.5e Epic Level Handbook had 10th level spells, and the rules surrounding their use.
So, maybe you could use a 10th level spell slot to stengthen Wish?
I haven't played D&D this century, and the last Pathfinder I ran was lower level and we only did 1 or 2 actual play sessions before scheduling fell apart. (Also, I'm a pretty bad DM, even working from an existing published campaign; people just want me to be GM because I can remember rules.)
