A very musical town

I hope that coffee really hits the spot, because it’s not ODD, it’s just “odd”.
Haha, yeah I figured it out before posting, probably phrased the post a little odd so it seems like I’m still asking what it is. I appreciate it though.

I'm guessing this is a reference to a musical, or musicals in general, where large groups of people spontaneously sing songs about how they're feeling and what they think.
Specifically the opening song from Disney's beauty and the beast.

So basically she was a furry with autism before the internet times

There was a tweet at some point that went something like:
Belle: "There goes the baker with his tray like always..."
Townsfolk: "There goes Belle, singing her DAILY MEAN SONG about us"

My dumbass when I first read it- what does ODD stand for, haven’t heard of that one. I’m still making my coffee this morning.
Edit- I’m aware of what it means, just had a brainfart when I first read it and tried to convey that. I appreciate the help anyways haha.
I first thought "But Belle doesn't have Oppositional Defiance Disorder??"

You should read Odd Thomas.

Ok. I'm stupid. Who wants to explain the joke?
To anyone who doesn't want to watch videos, it's a reference to "Beauty and The Beast", specifically the intro where the entire town sings a song containing lines such as "look there she goes that girl is so peculiar, " "yes she's strange, no question" and "what a puzzle to the rest of us is Belle" (her name) the whole time she is walking around town, well within hearing distance.

What threw me was the lack of a question mark.
Are we just done with punctuation now

Bell: Papa, Is Gaston gay?
Papa: No, he's in love with himself, it's a bit different.
Bell: What about that weird little man following him around?
Papa: Oh yes. Super gay. Were you not listening to the song?

Thanks. That's a better explanation than just mentioning that there is character with this name in some musical or movie.
