This suite uses Grist, which you can selfhost:
(it also is quite good and comes with some great features that excel is missing)

There’s also write.ellipsus.com as a free google docs alternative (from Germany) and it’s currently in beta but open to the public
I use it already and I like it a lot. They are also against generative AI which is very important to protect creative writing. -
