Not a big fan of an attribute you were born with making you ineligible to comment in a community, but their community, their rules.

Well, it happens quite regularly that men make absolute shit comments in the community, so its not that much of a stupid rule. Sometimes people dont have to care about everyone else's opinions on certain topics.

Oh, I don't think it's a stupid rule at all. I completely agree with the fact that they have a rule. If people want a space like that, that's totally fine by me. Just pointing out to this person that it's not based on a biological imperative.

That's good, but being trans is also an attribute you are born with. I get why they do it, and if it works out well for them, I'm not gonna say they're wrong for doing it. I would just never do it myself.

I mean, that's fair. I guess you could consider trans to be an attribute you're born with, but I generally consider trans to be a part of our gender expression, which science has described as being incredibly fluid which is why we not only have trans people, but we also have genderfluid people, and non-binary people, and other varieties along that spectrum as well.

If it's predominantly the men making shit comments, it should be easy enough to identify and ban them. Assuming they will make a bad comment based on them being a man is simply bad moderation.

Those who make bad comments are usually banned in no time. However the rule is kinda strict and the community explicitly wants a man free space and this gets enforced. People who are knew to the community usually get a polite comment to abstain from posting/commenting in the community.

Fyi those are all trans people to my knowledge. You're either cisgender/your assigned gender at birth, or you're transgender.
