    I ate crickets a few times in traditional Mexican restaurants. They were great dry roasted like seasoned peanuts, but I liked them less braised or streamed. I really needed them to have the crunch to be palatable. I'd try other bugs, for sure.

      Chapulines! They take chili lime seasoning very well. There’s this lemon tea thing to them that makes them fun in salads, it’s like a little lemon Snapple flavored protein puff. Had a tomato, feta, olive, and cucumber salad with ‘em that was the most ingredient-elevated unexpectedly-gourmet thing I’ve ever put in my mouth.

        Reminded me of Doritos sweet that chili crumbs at the bottom of the bag.
