This is an excellent point, but if somebody doesn't stand up, it'll never get better. I'm a born citizen, and white dude, statistically I have a better chance than someone else. I saw CA is trying to pass a law not allowing these officers to wear masks. While they'll likely ignore it at first, simply record and call the police. Eventually they'll stop. Once they're exposed and can face consequences, most of the atrocious behavior will stop.

Wearing a mask literally to hide your identity so you can physically accost and abduct anyone under the pretense of 'immigration authority' with zero need for due process so there are no repercussions when you are wrong? That's protecting your country.
i am willing to bet that before the year is over, there will be people who cut mouth holes out of these types of masks to make it clear that they aren't wearing masks for public health reasons
