Two comments, and I know this is now old news: it's insane to see someone/somegroup get SO pissy for being hit with a soft, non-lethal projectile; and while I understand how he was likely carrying it, upon further review the clip above seems to show that this man is a sandwich-mancer and can summon subs from thin air.

One time there was a heat wave in my city, and I don't have air conditioning at home. The movie theater was playing apocalypse now, I think it was the directors cut. It was 3 hours long so I bought a ticket because I wanted 3 hours of air conditioning. I had no idea what a great movie I was stumbling into! It was about war and how horrific it is.
Going in neutral without expectations is the best way to enjoy a movie in my opinion, there's a indie theatre near my home that mostly plays older classics from US and around the world. I've had my mind blown by movies that came out decades ago, good movies age very well

This is simply not true. The constitution has no provisions for suspending elections.

There will be an activity called an election. It won't be free, or fair, or allow everyone to vote. The simplest method would be restricting voting locations to those deemed 'safe from insurrection' aka counties that voted for Trump.

All that's going to do is switch out him for his successor in the party. All of these things are things the party has been working for, such as declaring martial law and locking people up without habeas corpus, disappearing them, including citizens. Without addressing a lack of an opposition that can win in the face of election rigging 2028 won't change anything except perhaps a leader that is not quite so stupid about doing the exact same things.

The Midwest has a weird relationship with Chicago. It's our city dammit, but it's thought of as a shithole because of a long history of it being a shithole and also because of a long history of it being used as a byword for dangerous urban areas. People who hadn't been there in a decade were calling it Chiraq so much that my phone recognized the word. As a teenager (late 00s and early 10s) the far right edgelords would joke about bombing it like they did about Tehran. But it's also a costal city with all the limp wristed elite dogwhistles and homophobia. Which is a little funny because Chicago gay culture is tough as fuck. But yeah and there's the racism which is huge and is an undercurrent of it all.
So yeah it's the Midwest's own Al Capone themed LA, but the sky is trying to kill you not fires and earthquakes.
