I knew they should have built a real smoke and engine noise generator into the cyber truck. So that all those who insist on polluting, don't have to be left out.

Tesla just needs a new slogan or a good marketing campaign.

      Something like:

      Tesla - power by joy

Or "Kraft durch Freude" in German.

All that would perfectly fit the brand image.

I'm pretty sure that the new employee orientation has a banner that says something about work setting me free.

They could put a big diesel in that large unused empty space in the back.

You act like you don't understand police departments need grants to buy those things also.

You act like they won't be replaced or disbanded by Musk if they won't do what he wants. He has enough money to buy anyone and anything. And he shows he isn't scared in doing so.

There are a lot of testimonials from people who own the bastard things declaring that they're virtually unsellable, by the way.

Can you sell it for resources? There have to be some rare metals in them.

I realize the American educational system has gone downhill, but surely at some point somebody taught you the concept of nuance? That not everything is black or white, good or evil? That sometimes things are shades of gray? Sometimes good people do bad things, bad people do good things, etc?
And that not everything is as it first appears at face value, you have to look deeper to understand?

I for one am very much a student of nuance.

I think we would both agree that of late, Elon has somewhat gone off the rails.
But that doesn't mean everything he has ever done or ever will do is automatically bad. I can dislike his current politics and the way he is approaching this efficiency project, without having to shit on everything he's ever done.

Thus, I remain a fan of SpaceX and Tesla, for the simple reason that they both lead their respective fields technology-wise. As someone who has owned a Tesla for years (going back to the days when everybody loved Elon), I can confidently say from personal first-hand experience that it is a fantastic car.
The fact that I now disagree with many of its founder's politics doesn't change the car in my driveway. It was a fantastic car when I bought it and it's an even more fantastic car now as FSD gets further refined.

I ask, for the good of our nation, please avoid black and white thinking. A population unable to grasp nuance and uninterested in looking deeper for motivations and questions below the surface is easily manipulated with range bait news. Republicans have been doing this for decades. Democrats have just started in the last 4 or 5 years.

Didn't bother reading past that nonsense. Glad you got some writing exercise in, though.

If you do not revolt against the government, you will receive a free cybertruck as a replacement for your house, which will be too expensive to live in.

Each immigrant willing to leave voluntarily will receive a free cybertruck.

The US military, firefighters, EMT's and police force will get new vehicles! They will all start to use cybertrucks.

Do they still let you charge for free on the Tesla network?

Charge it during the day, run your house off of it at night when you are home. Save electricity.

I wouldn't take a cybertruck if it was free, ignoring musk entirely it's just a bad vehicle.

The only place I'll drive a Cybertruck is in Fortnite because there I want my car to be unsafe.

The thing is, for a truck that’s used for truck shit, functionality, practicality, and reliability are probably the most important. Styling will always be relevant to customers, but should be a secondary concern for a tough utilitarian vehicle.

It’s too bad they flipped those priorities and made an overpriced junky status symbol. I think Elon wanting people to see the “amazing” design was one of the main drivers behind it getting released when it did. It was clearly not ready 5 years ago since it’s still not ready now.

It looks like musk gave a verbal description of a truck to someone who never seen one before and they just went with it.

Thanks to Elon, inspecting governmental bodies, regulations and regulators will be dissolved, so probably the cybertruck will be an amazing camp fire, better known as a dumbster fire, due to spontaneous combustion like Chinese cars in China. Then to blame it on trans people or something.

There are a lot of moneyed interests who want us all fighting each other. They want that so they can continue to extract the wealth of the nation for themselves. So while you explain why you've no need to listen to anybody, you are helping them.

Ever see a magic show? The magician sets up the trick and the cute bikini clad assistant jumps around and flashes her hands to capture your attention so you don't notice the magician has just palmed your card instead of shuffling it.
Elon is the assistant here. Everybody is focused on him and his stupid salute and all of the crazy things people like him say and do, and people are not focused on the real question of how to stop the fact that Americacs people are being bled dry.

I would encourage you to read the story of Daryl Davis, he is a black musician, most famous for becoming friends with a number of KKK members. Those people were used to being hated by black people and vice versa. All Daryl did was talk to them, listen to them, find elements of commonality. I think like 40 or 50 KKK members have left the organization because of him.

I saw my first cybertruck in traffic yesterday, I initially thought that some redneck had every part you need to make a car except for the frame and body, and was like "I don't need none of that fancy shit, I got square tube and steel plate!" and welded together the laziest design they could think of. Then I realized it was just a cybertruck, and promptly laughed at it.

If it was part of a trend of Redneck shit mobiles itd be respectable but stupid, the fact that they are built out of a factory and not Bubba'd out of scrap metal and random parts in a garage makes them thoroughly stupid and infinitely trashy.

Maybe he'll force their sale to Ukraine, so Trump can pretend he supports them even while the cybertrucks break down in the field faster than Russia's WWII era tanks.

They'd get better use out of them by turning the batteries into anti personnel landmines.
