Itās fine Iām not here asking people for forgiveness or for people to defend shitty behaviour which I engaged in the real world. Thatās why I find it strange that people will defend pewdiepie when he did the same shit and monetised it and did it all behind the safety of a first world country and a keyboard.

The people who get canceled are dismissive of criticism (eg make up some bullshit about how what they said wasnāt even considered bigoted where they live) and/or double down.

Wikipedia has it at 1.5-2% but that's only for people born in Africa who immigrated to sweden, it doesn't include natural born citizens, so that's probably where they got their info from.

Thank you this is such an important thing that often goes unsaid. We are all really busy people, all of us, and we donāt have time to microanalyze the nuance of very personās situation.
If youāre a public personality and you do/say something awful - how you act when called out is all most people are going to see or care about. If you donāt acknowledge you were wrong then I assume the bad action was deliberate and I move on. Life is too busy to give attention to people that act badly and then refuse to apologize or take responsibility.
