Seems to me that this kind of story just proves that if ice comes for you only choice is to die fighting. You're going to be put in a hole in an El Salvador prison with no recourse. What incentive do you have to go quietly? What incentive do you have to trust the rule of law? Even if you're a US citizen, they'll throw you in that hole doesn't matter.
