Daily, often numerous times a day. I like to juggle it when I walk, playing send me to heaven.
Almost four years now, no cracks.

Daily, but it's in a case and has a screen protector. Only has to last a few years anyway and minor damage doesn't prevent function is fine. The biggest scratch is under the case somehow, don't really understand that.

too often. but at least they're $50-80 flippers and not $1000 slabs.

On my face in bed? Many times haha. Apart from that almost never. Have never cracked a screen or body of a phone, touch wood, in 20 years or whatever it has been of having smart phones.

A significant drop, maybe once every year or two. The first time I cracked the screen I resolved to always use those protective cover thingies, and they seem to work since I've never cracked the screen since.
I don't understand why so many people are saying they drop them so frequently. These are expensive pieces of hardware and it's not hard to hold them securely.

All the time, this is why the only phone cases I trust are otterbox.

I've dropped a smartphone once several years ago. I think it was the Galaxy S5.
First day, hadn't put it in a case yet, dropped it, tried to catch it with my foot but ended up kicking it into the steel frame of a cubicle.
The side dented but it survived. Before that, the last time I had dropped a phone was.. a Motorola Razr that I dropped from a 28' ladder and onto the sidewalk, no car or anything, worked fine and barely a scratch.
Otherwise basically never.

At least monthly, if not weekly.

This seems only specific, do you have a timer?

wrote on last edited by [email protected]I drop it often on the carpet by my couch, but outside of that, a couple times a year at most. I’ve only ever had a hairline crack on one phone out of many over the years. I also don’t use a case or screen protector.

Drop?
Drop it onto a chair (soft lazy boy style chair) a couple times a week.
Drop it in a floor or ground? 2 times a year. Maybe less.

Idk maybe I watch too much Linus
TechDropTips and it became contageous.Or maybe its because I have anxiety and I cant hold objects still.

Maybe 2-3 times over the life of the phone.

Do you drop it more often at certain times? One time I dropped a phone and thought I was clumsy so I took the case off. That helped me realize I was just careless cuz I never dropped it again. But if it’s the former that might not work for you.

Almost never. I can only think of two or three times since my first iPhone 3gs.

Y'all are crazy. Very responsible. I drop my phone every single day. Often outside onto the concrete. I break my screen protectors all the time. I've only ever messed up an actual screen once (stupid like wrap around screen so the case was not sufficient). I buy extremely cheap cases and screen protectors, and they always work.
I'm clumsy, but also I guess thoughtless. I'm constantly bending over to pick up my kid and it just tumbles out of my pockets. Idk. The screen protectors last between one week and 6 months. Usually a couple of months, but then the cracks/chips are so little I just take ages to replace it, so I'm only buying one like twice a year. You can get 3 for under 10 bucks so it's basically worth the cost to not have to be precious about your phone all the time.

wrote on last edited by [email protected]Almost never. But if I ever do, I have one of those super thick bad ass cases that actually are meant to protect the device and not just change how it looks.
