We're deep into the baggy era mate

I remember in 8th grade, my buddy got the first pair of JNCOs in our friend group. He was so excited, he goes "AND JUST LOOK WHAT I CAN FIT IN THE POCKETS!" and proceeded to pull out an entire 2-liter bottle of Mountain Dew.
Similar story in my life but a 12-pack of Smirnoff Ice

Clothing and other things trend about every 30 years. And it's driven by nostalgia. As you approach your 40s you'll start seeing things that were popular when you were 10 and it makes you want to buy it, even if it's a dumb nik-nak.
Resist nostalgia purchases, folks.
I never stopped playing Mortal Kombat 1-3. It’s hard to get someone nostalgic for a time they never left haha.
I do have the arcade machine now though. My wife spoils me.
As for my clothes, I’ve smoked, drank, and done way too many drugs to actually look youthful. When old folks tell me that I look younger than I am, I tell them it’s because I’m wearing the same clothes I bought 20 years ago and I look like a college age millennial because of that, and their sense of time is off.

It's always been baggy for me, I like the swishing around my ankles XD

Are the steps in between filled with bootcut jeans and flared pants?
At no point will it be at the actual best point: straight cut. They're perfect. They show off ripped leg muscles without ripping or looking painted on.

Yeah i grew up in the 90s. The skinny jean crazy didn't land with me. I wore baggy carpenters until they died, then the widest bootcut I could find.
Now I am in heaven, my favorite aesthetic is everywhere, baggy jeans, shirt sleeves over long sleeves, hell yes let's skate

Now that I appreciate a Guy's butt in slim jeans they're gone

We need an overlay also of the amount of rips in jeans

I went baggy back in the 00s and I'm NEVER going back. 'Straight cut' is as baggy as I'll wear em. Love those baggy pants on my SO though

Thighs baggy, calves skinny.
wrote on last edited by [email protected]This. I prefer a more slim fit, but I've got some cake to fit. Too many mens jeans are cut for guys with Hank Hill butts.

When can we be in the no pants era?
me and the boys entering our tunic era

I'm a relaxed-fit man. Occasionally the rest of society aligns with my taste.

Joggers broke me out of the cycle, free your mind
The droopy crotch on most joggers is really annoying for me. I like a more loose fit around the thighs but not MC Hammer levels of loose.
-
Ive been wearing loose fit Dickies and Vans checkerboard slip ons for about 25 years now.
Being cool as fuck has never gone out of style.
wrote on last edited by [email protected]Vans Slip-On Pros are basically the sharks of the shoe world: They hit optimal design a very long time ago, have barely changed since, and continue to remain one of the most effective species out there. They don't seem to make as many color variant runs as they used to though, I used to have the Lizzie Amano editions in lavender / black and they looked awesome, I ran them ragged as cycling shoes.

My gf says the same thing. She thinks they're comfy but she cant wear them as part of an outfit. I'm sure if someone made joggers without the hang they'd get plenty of customers. I'm surprised nobody has tried yet, its like the only legitimate complaint I hear from people about them lol

I've been sceptical of joggers at first, but now I cannot imagine wearing or buying anything else. a string instead of a button is such a quality of life improvement on its own.
They're like modern day utility pants! Plus you can get them with fleece lining which is god tier for winter

That one spins in the opposite direction
