It's not really too unusual for a launch as big as this to have some bad units slip through QA. If it's a handful of people, I'd even say that's pretty impressive. This starts to effect a large enough percentage and then you've got something worth getting upset about.

Yeah this is like making out a monitor having a dead pixel is some huge scandal and discredit to that company.

You can already do that for the switch 2?

Hmm cause... It could be the battery. Or maybe the battery is fucked. If that's not the case they could probably have a look at the battery and see if it failed.

It's their way of saying they try to blame the customer first.

That's why you never pre-order. Never. Still never.

The new Mario kart is the same as the old Mario kart. Just play 8 if you want to play Mario kart lol.

For better or for worse, it's actually quite different. Many people seem to actually prefer Mario Kart 8 lol

That's like telling me to not read sequels to books.

Just because it shares mechanics and characters does not make it the same game.

Huh? The person I responded to said they don't have Mario kart world and don't want to buy it for the price it's being sold at. So i said play Mario kart 8 it's the same game.

So yes. If you don't own a sequel to a book and it costs too much, then just read the first book.

You could just emulate on a steam deck while having a bazillion other games available

How do you emulate a console on a device less powerful than the console you're emulating?

Wouldnt the S2 be at best equal to the SteamDeck in raw processing power?
Last I heard it has a 2h battery runtime for MK World. That's less thn me emulating MK8D on a steamdeck at 2x the resolution and 60 FPS.

It's different to the point I sometimes go back to 8 for the more traditional format. That isn't something that has ever been the case for me across other mario kart games.

Kinda the best of both worlds if you have both games, really. MK8 had a ton of "traditional" tracks and MKW has a ton of new tracks.

                      That's a lotta tracks, baby!

Man, the Steam Deck bros are really insufferable, aren't they?
