U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) waiting outside unmarked van

Yo they have discussed suspending habeus corpus.
The only black bag I'm going in is a body bag.
Discussed? My dude it's already been happening for months.

Well. If there's nothing identifying them as an arm of the state, it's legal to shoot them in self defense should they try to kidnap you. You can also say that the law doesn't matter anymore as the US government is flagrantly violating it but that also means that the law no longer has legitimacy as the government is breaking it's end of the social contract. Therefore, normal morality in the absence of law applies which says that self defense is legitimate.
Libertarianism at last. We made it boys. Rand Paul can be seen wanking it furiously on his front lawn.

"You see your honor, they were wearing ski masks, and I've been taught by Hollywood that a group of people wearing ski masks in the middle of the day with a black van means they are up to no good. So I took it to my own hands to shoot these motherfuckers down."

You can only use proportional force to defend yourself under stand your ground laws. If you stab someone that is only using their body parts then you go to jail. Will a jury convict? It will take a year or two to find out.
I'm not saying it's legal. I'm saying if someone wearing a balaclava tries to force me into an unmarked van, they're getting stabbed.

Just judging by the cover, my guess is that this album sucks.

That's a lynching posse, and not a gathering of law enforcement officers.
"Lawn enforcement officer" sounds like an analog for "assistant (to the) manager" in an Office clone about an HOA.
-
Has anyone actually confirmed that those guys are actually ICE? Because they look like I could pretend to be ICE and get away with it.
There are already reports that people are committing crimes disguised like this, and I'm starting to think that's part of the strategy.
They know they cheated to get into power, and they don't have nearly the support that they claim to have. They know they don't have enough trained manpower to suppress the national mob that will arise when the Tipping Point happens. By establishing that this is the "uniform" of their "Enforcers," ANYONE can align with them by embracing their ideology, no joining or training necessary.
Eventually, we will have volunteers joining them in their assaults on protesters, zip-tying their neighbors and dropping them off at the local ICE facility, and eventually just organizing their own little ICE Militias, and the government will be just fine with all of that.

Then you have evaluated the situation and have made an informed decision about the options.

Appears brown shirts weren't in stock at Kohl's
Brown shirts are so mid-20th century. This is the 21st century, were in the future! It's Red Hats now.
Remember: Red Hat spelled sideways is Hatred.

This is actually the right move.
Literally find a payphone, pick it up, call 911 and say there's a group of dangerous looking masked individuals at (name of location), and I'm scared that it's not safe here.
Then immediately drop the phone and walk away. It seems rude but if you hang up or stop responding the correct action on the 911 operators side is to expect the worst and literally send everyone to that location, lights and sirens.
A payphone? Do you have a 21st century idea?

If you don't, it's possible you're going to a concentration camp. Think I rather get tried by a jury of my peers.
Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

That's not true in all states. In Florida, if you feel genuinely threatened, you can respond with deadly force, no matter what the other guy is threatening you with.

If people that looked like this showed up at my door, they'd be looking down the barrel of a shotgun. These morons are going to get shot.

Multiple people is significantly more force than even a knife.
Proportional force means the force must be proportional to the threat, not to the force the other person is using. If someone threatens death with their hands, you can use deadly force to defend against a deadly threat.
One would be reasonable in concluding that masked people trying to force you or someone else into a van is an imminent threat of death, great bodily harm or sexual assault.
You can't use deadly force to defend against harassment, or theft because that's disproportionate.

That's a lynching posse, and not a gathering of law enforcement officers.
That's exactly what this is, a new form of lynching. In a way, it's even worse than lynching. They may not be hanging them from a tree, but they are destroying the lives of entire families.

No badges, no name tags, no exposed faces… let’s see “ ICE “ try this in a state with strong self defense laws.
wrote last edited by [email protected]Don't forget, the State decides if it's self-defense or not, and Self-Defense states tend to be Red. Florida has some of the "strongest" Self-Defense laws, and the State would side with these goons every time.

While that doesn’t surprise me, I don’t think I’ve heard/seen/read about “ICE” getting guns drawn on by people they try to kidnap.
I carry, with a permit, and I regularly practice & train. I don’t wake up bloodthirsty but if masked dudes approach me and I don’t see badges/names/police ID, you bet I’m drawing on them, and if they attempt to lay hands on me I’m firing. I will most likely be persecuted and found guilty but I’ll at least say I did something on record against the gestapo and maybe set a precedent?

You know what, that probably would stand in court. "I saw some random dudes in masks attempting to kidnap a woman so I intervened."
If they wanna look like a some random thug they'll have to accept thug consequences.
