How many of you use Lemmy and ONLY use Lemmy vs Reddit?

Is anyone here so hardcore that they don't even bother with mainstream social media? If its not on Lemmy or Mastodon it must not be important? Anyone that hardcore?
Only Lemmy

Got banned from reddit but in the end they actually did me a favor.

Only Lemmy for about a year now

I ditched reddit for good two years ago. Now I just use Lemmy, Tildes, and Lobste.rs

I don't know if I'm hardcore or not, but I've never had a Reddit account.

I actively avoid reddit links for the last 2 years.

The apps would open up a port that website Facebook integration tried to call to get around all tracking protections.
wow, do you have an article or something about that? would love to read more about the technical details.

Lemmy only. Reddit has become some strange mix of Quora and X or something like that at this point.

lol. you're going to have an awakening soon. lemmy is full of rad left. reddit looks moderate by comparison.
Have been here well over a year now and can confidently say the majority of lemmy users are left, not rad left. Wanting basic human rights for all isn't a radical idea, thinking gay people should have the right to get married isn't a radical idea, wanting teans folks to have their medical needs met isn't a radical idea
I'm not in for any awakening. I've done been awake, are you?

I stopped reddit a couple years ago, and I only use lemmy. This is like my 6th account, and instance hop. Definitely a system that works better for me.

It is not hardcore i'd actually advise anyone to limit its media following for its own mental health.
I never feel better than on vacation during which I barely check news and internet -

Lemmy is my only social media

Soon as I figure out Lemmy’s porn options I’m done with Reddit forever.
Til then tho, I’m happy to consume Reddit’s content without spending a single cent towards it or any of its advertisers.

I never post or browse Reddit anymore, but I'll still look at Reddit search results. There's just too much good information on there that you just can't find elsewhere.

Exactly. Same here. I only see Reddit via Google searches.

It's somehow gotten worse than Quora and I didn't know it was possible.

I maintain a reddit account linked to a burner email so that I can occasionally ask questions that I can't find the answer too elsewhere. Other than that the only social media I use is Lemmy.

Not yet. Reddit and Lemmy are my only social media, I don't use anything else--I only see content from other sites, like TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc., on Reddit or Lemmy. There are a couple of klunky things about the Lemmy interface that bug me, which I've complained about already. And, the Lemmy communities I'm more interested in are not active enough to satisfy me. Lemmy still feels empty, but it's getting better.
