Doesn’t resting your gun on the mag make it more likely to jam?
While firing, and depending on the gun, yes. But this is fine.

wrote on last edited by [email protected]I disagree, there is nothing to indicate this person is handling a lethal weapon carelessly, they are simply ready to use it need be while they do obviously important office work.
Also are most ICE agents actually able to use a computer literately as well as let's say the average 13 year old kid can?
You can tell this person is clever on the otherhand because they have repurposed their ak47 pistol grip as a paper weight for an important memo of some kind. Multitasking is important advantage of the Western Christian Blonde Haired Blue Eyed Germanic Dominance that is inherent to our bigotry I mean blood, you can see it in the way the US dominates at business like an alpha wolf.
Not only that but this guy has efficiency, look he is wearing a cool length of cloth around his head to keep cool without overspending on air conditioning costs and has his printer right next to him ready to go with whatever office documents he is working on once he finishes so he can get them expediently to his boss for final production.
The very image of a modern, global businessman in the way only a good old American homeland cowboy could express.

It shouldn't. Older mags with poor tolerances and poorly designed followers used to have this issue and that is where people got into the habit of saying/doing/teaching that. Newer mags with better openings and followers no longer have this issue. This is true for both the AR and the AK platforms, the two most popular platforms in the world.

I mean resting my guitar on my desk like that makes me far more likely to jam when I am trying to do something important, so makes sense.

Also depending on how often it is "used" When I did my conscription service in Norway we had G3 magazines with ammunition issued for sentry duty. That is the same magazines were kept in the camp guard office and then handed over to whoever was going out for sentry duty. (But you used your own weapon) There were always a full squad of 10 + 1 sergeant and 2 officer on duty. So 13 magazines.
Once I was on duty I counted the rounds and the spring was so broken from the constant tension it was only able to lift the five first cartridges. Then the sergeant checked the rest and all were broken. We tried actual loading and about five cartridges were chambered.
End of semi pointless story? My boredom created a new SOP for guard magazines. -

Dude, you’re getting a dell!

This guy would be perfect as Ron in an Afghani remake of Parks and Rec.
