The future of makeup
-
Lived with a lot of women over the years, not seeing it. Always dated within my generation, maybe it's a young woman thing?
Help us out here girls!
Kinda, though I don't wear much makeup my generation does seem to use more liquid for stuff like foundation and eyeliner (fuck pencil style eyeliner, liquid is so much better)

I mean... the fifth element has gotten some things right. A billionare is fucking shit up, we know opera sounds dope with a heavy beat, our cars talk to us.
Why not the makeup application?
Multipass!

Fair play, we did also find out that those powders might have been slowly poisoning people to death.

By then we're going to be genetically modified with cuttlefish DNA and be able to change what we look like by will alone.

This reminds me of the time that the office was having all the asbestos panelling removed. Because of course it had asbestos panelling, dumped that it was.
One of the guys turned up with a t-shirt that said "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger", so perhaps those people just lacked the necessary force of will

I use neutrinos.
You have to use a lot though due to their lower adherence rate.

Not too dissimilar to Brave New World...

If it was whitening lead, yeah. But you can have rouge from red ochre, literally dirt, aka egyptian earth.
It can be the same pigment as with modern makeup just without the oils as a glue. Perhaps it wouldn't even cause pimples.

I guess we are already pretty close to that with spray tan

Older guy here.
I have always avoided dating women who would plaster shit all over their faces. I'd rather see those pores, freckles (actually I'm sucker for freckles), etc. I do like a bit of eye liner or shadows (or whatever it's called) lipstick/gloss, mascara. Accents, if you will. But someone with their faces under a coat of primer, paint, and lacquer, like a car?
Also, I want to have a good idea of what they'll look like in the morning.

Protip: dont judge women by how they choose to present themselves. Its sexist.

wrote last edited by [email protected]I'm not judging women, I'm drawing red lines. I'm stating my preferences in dating situations. I also don't like unkempt women for dating purposes, or overly tattooed, or too far right wing, or religious zealots, etc...
I imagine you have some standards?

Nope. I don't look for anything, I just avoid certain things, as I suspect most people do in their romantic endeavors.

wrote last edited by [email protected]Descriptive. If you reread, i'm stating what ** I** find attractive.
Anybody is free to do whatever they like as long as they don't harm others, or cause an objective harm to society.
Within those limits you may do as you please, and I'll defend your right to, but I don't have to like it.

Of course it is judging, everyone judges. You are doing so right now with those comments.
People are allowed to have preferences. And too much make-up is indicative of having a fake personality. So I stay clear of those kinds of people as well.

Of course I'm judgemental about someone spewing sexist tropes, thats different from judging how someone chooses to present themselves.
