No way, if you feel that strongly you should definitely stay on windows.

Oh, I do. I still see Microsoft ads, like outside and so on. So I would guess there is quite a lot of them overall.

You know what Windows people talk about? What they actually do on their computer. Not the 500 things they had to do to tailor their operating system to themselves.

Nah programs run fine on Linux - I just use CumSock emulator- it's not officially compatible with Debian but you can install the flat pack with Ploopy. Make a few config changes and you're off to the races!

You should be sterilized.

Lol Ploopy is real you know

I stand by my statement.

"Just install linux"
"When will people just install linux?!"
Etc. The constant propaganda gets tiring lol. I plan to switch in around two months, but constant yapping on lemmy almost made me consider IoT windows xD
"The constant talk about the thing I want to do in the future is making me tempted to cut off my own leg just to show them!"

Right up until windows updates and changes their settings, and now are whining about how their OS isn't doing what they want it to do. Or their desktop icons are gone and 'everything is broken' and they can't work. Or until they get a new computer and don't know how to reconfigure it back to the way they spent years making it and now nothing works the same.

Eeeeeyup. Because it devalues the thing. That's quite...normal thing for humans. If you're getting pestered for something, you begin to dislike it by connection to the people pestering you.
Also, Win LTSC/IoT isn't cutting my leg off, it's basically just another, equally worth it, option.

Cute strawman you got there. "Desktop icons gone"? Really? That's the best you got? Resetting a new computer? First one doesn't happen and second one is HARDER on Linux.
Cope harder.

Lol, real examples from my professional career are strawmen, apparently.
I'm not even a Linux fanboy and I know you're wrong about OS customizations. I've kept all my settings on a new install by keeping my dot files up to date.
Cope harder.
Seems like you're doing it enough for both of us.

I didn't reference the last point you made at all which is all you talk about here in your renuttal. You're reading comprehension is ass, genius

Yeah, you didn't say this at all in your *rebuttal:
Resetting a new computer?
did you? Or are you just entirely ignorant of the topic at hand? (yes)
You're reading comprehension is ass, genius
*Your reading comprehension is comparable to your spelling, grammar and memory: atrocious.
Good by, I won't be replying to you again, because you're not worth the time it takes to respond to your very clearly knowledgeable and intelligent responses.
Also, the hateful bigotry I see in your history. Explains a lot of the unearned confidence you seem to have in your own abilities.
