For example, conflating fascist apologia as a facet of a desire for universal human rights is some worryingly impressive mental gymnastics. Are you sure the negative reaction your opinion has received isn't driving you to entrench yourself so deep into your philosophical position that you're losing sight of the values you held initially? That's a trap I see well meaning people fall into not infrequently, when they misjudge the depth of feeling other people hold for an issue, or present a petition for peace & love without realizing how smugly condescending it might come across. Seriously, why're you behaving like this?
