I agree with you.
But you know who doesn't agree with us? Aggressive hateful bigoted trumper assholes. And when you throw such a non-insult their way, it is their own hate and prejudice that turns it into something they take as an insult. At best it shines a light on the shitty attitude by turning it against the wielder, and at worst it gives the targets of their shit a little catharsis.
Even with the more tame versions, like "emotional support truck," I assume we agree that a person who needs and responds well to an emotional support animal are not bad people. But you know who loves to assume that anything like that is a some kind of character flaw? Aggressive hateful bigoted trumper assholes.

I don’t see any “ai-looking” things in this pic. Each hitch belongs to a truck. There are all sorts of shapes, but walk through the average Walmart parking lot and you’ll see them all.
- The nearest two hitches are pixel-perfect square to the camera.
- The tailpipe on the first truck on the right melts into a smudge.
- There is almost no detail in the concrete even though all the trucks are in sharp focus.
- All shadows have an ethereal quality and the light seems to have an inconsistent directionality.
- The ball on the white truck melts into the white line behind it.
- The green truck behind the white truck has a fender that seems to melt into a wheel.
- The box on the orange truck on the left seems to be about 3' deep.

It literally takes less than 30 seconds to bend down, pull the cotter clip, pull the pin, and toss the hitch end in the bed. Saves the shins and kneecaps of yourself and everyone else.
Knew someone who deliberately left it out because they thought it would help mitigate someone nudging into their backend.
To their credit, it actually worked once, someone got a hitch sized hole in their front bumper for a low speed collision.
On the other hand, this person also kept banging their own shin on their tow hitch... But they thought it was worth it anyway...

If this is the same picture I saw years ago. This is from a farm college. So they kinda need the toe hooks.
Toe hooks huh... Must be some big feet....
But even with or without hitches, their rear ends are intruding beyond their parking spots. I know that's also a challenge with these long ass trucks, but if it were a lot designed specifically for this demographic, it should have the spots appropriate.

I'm no expert, but I'm not saying it's stop the rust, just rub it off. Rust is a thin layer on the outside, and it comes off really easily. I assume actually hooking up a trailer and using it on occasion would wear the rust off (for a little while). I could be totally wrong though.
I can confirm that scraping the balls causes rust way faster than it might scrape off. If you see glossy balls, they are likely never used.

My "toy truck" (It's a small truck, with a small engine) now looks like hell, but it's 20 years old and has been used as a truck.
For years it looked great, because I used a trailer for everything, because it's just easier. Bed was used for small hauls of stuff you wouldn't want in a car: paint, bags of mulch/sand/gravel, etc. Or needed a quick pickup and didn't want to go hookup a trailer.

Yep.
I used to keep mine greased, got tired of getting dirty from it when it didn't really make any difference.

The shadows show it - exactly. The same from both directions, and weird looking to boot.

There are different hitch ball sizes. I've got one lying around that has 3 ends.
The ones in the back need extensions to the ground to match their ridiculous lift kits, otherwise the trailer would tip ass backwards.
Those vertical offset ones are great, because trucks are different and trailers are different.
I have what people call a "toy truck", the receiver is ridiculously low, and one trailer we have is ridiculously high, so offset ball mount is a requirement.

don't make fun of people with small dicks because it makes innocent people feel like shit for no reason about something they can't control. hence my comment about might as well start using skin color as an insult, or small tits, or being bald. it's NOT a good way to insult people

just call em what they are, insecure people. no reason to also insult women, or peoples genetics. that's my only gripe tbh. I've never understood why it's acceptable overall to insult someone based on something they can't help.
I get the overall reasoning behind the masculinity and having small dicks but the insult just never sits well with me and causes this global stigma that small dicks are inherently bad which can turn normal people into hating themselves for just being born.
I don't know the best way to insult those people but yeah..just voicing my opinion which obviously gets misunderstood as me defending them.

To this person's credit, they always seemed to take backing up seriously and slowly and kept quite a distance from everyone.. also very carefully parked as straight as possible, and never over any of the lines. Still since they only tow about once a week, it's kind of silly to have that hitch in all the time.
Unlike another colleague who doesn't have a tow hitch, but always pushes his luck and has on occasion given a nudge to a parked car with his pickup, and never parks straight and usually parks over the middle lines...

Definitely don't buy a bunch of those big elastic bands for workouts and loop the cars together in pairs.
As a non-alternative (i.e. don't do this either) the same pairings but with a thin rope with a self-tightening knot.
It will break without any noticeable effort from the car, but will probably make a big bang.
