Because we aren't? The generation with all the power are those who grew up when The Jeffersons was considered breaking new ground by starring an all-black cast. The people who grew up with FG and SP are just barely turning 30
The generation where those shows have been on TV for their entire life are turning 30.
The generation that was part of the target audience for said shows when they were new are approaching 50.

They aren't. The only people offended by everything are 60 year old red cap wearers who post stuff like this online.

I love that the title displays like crap because OP used asterisks and Lemmy interpreted it as markdown!

They're also not really offended. They act that way because it gets what they want.

Was gunna say, I am 38 and I remember watching the first Halloween episode of SP when I was like 10-11 and the adults hadn't caught on how offensive the show was yet.

I'm 43 thank you very much.
Then again, guess that means I also grew up with Married With Children, Blazing Saddles, and Pink Flamingos...

Because those shows believe in "moderation" and only attacking the underprivileged with any real heat. Those are both massively bigoted shows that support racism and discrimination as a difference of opinion but fighting against it as the ultimate sin.

Boomers weren't raised by South Park and Family Guy, what are you talking about?

Definitely not. I was the target generation, and I am in my early 40s. South Park was released 28 years ago, and family guy was 26 years. I was around 15 when this all came out, which was the desired age group.

Yup, grew up in Colorado and was ~10 when it first came on. Nobody questioned us watching it because it was a cartoon. Can't imagine what kids growing up with Rick and Morty will be like.

The "rad" generation turned out the same as the one before.
