Modern medicine dragging the herd IQ down once again. You're welcome...

It just gets chucked over people or dabbed on their head where I’m from.

That's a brutal and very cynical view on saving lives.
And maybe some of these people get a little bit wiser. So I'm not at all sure it stands up. -

Gotta bless it with Absolut Faith, the new brand from Absolut, then they can bless it AF.

Lest you forget, Germany still subsidises homeopathy through the health insurance scheme, which ends up costing twice...

I'm not sure how the 2 relate. But IMO homeopathy shouldn't even be legal, because it's fraud.
It doesn't matter that some people may believe it, the evidence is clear that it doesn't work beyond the placebo effect. It should be illegal on the same principles that make pyramid schemes illegal, pyramid schemes also do work for some. -

I get the feeling that people who would drink holy water are not the ones listening to professionals.
Theyre the ones buying snake oil instead of going to a doctor.

Since a lot of people are fine with placebos to feel better (studies support it), I support this over prescribing medicine all the time.

I didn't think of that.

I refuse to pay for placebo when it costs more than actual medicine.
Yours is an absolutely asinine take.
And as a final note, there is no evidence homeopathy has a positive effect globally in the German population that is non inferior to not having it at all.
And as an important tool for those thinking the placebo effect is at all relevant, please keep in mind the design of the study you read and the disclosures (or lack thereof) at the end of said study. We're still reeling from the sugar industry effects on research into nutrition.

I didn’t think of people drinking it…that sounds really unhygienic.

They would get some unregulated stuff online then, and then it gets really expensive. Or shop for doctors until they get something.
