f*ck morning people
f*ck morning, people
f*ck, morning people...the last thing i want is to interact with another living soul before 11.30, preferably not before 13.30: i wish they were dead, or at least not a part of the world i live in...

This is based of your extensive knowledge of NOT being a business traveler?
- 1.3 million people travel for work every day in the U.S. alone.
- 40% of hotel guests are work travelers.
-
Stupid sexy blankets that are wearing nothing at all!!
Hot single blankets in your area!
-
You don't have to travel the globe to stay on a hotel wtf are you talking about? Lots of people go to different cities within the same country.

7:00 -- breakfast
8:00 -- continue to sleepThat's the ticket. Worked in Tempe for 3 weeks. Come non work nights I was wondering what I should do, so if I was tired Id pop some edibles, laugh at a movie for a bit, wake up with munchies and get breakfast, then go back to bed until afternoon.
Didn't want to spend much time outside when it was daylight anyways. Sun starts to go down, find a dive bar or something.

Anyone up at that time on holiday wears socks with crocs.

We're built different
Free breakfast ends at 10, but I'll be damned if I dont eat it and go straight back to bed.

You’re spiritually a morning person, just in another time zone.

To be fair. At home I ain’t got shit to do. On vacation, there’s always something to do…even rushing to the pool/beach to do more nothing.
-
Dam, where you going that has 12 checkouts? I see mostly 11 with some being 10.
You can ask for a rock star check out time. They'll usually giggle and say sure, or ask whats that? You tell them, they giggle, and say sure.

I think you should set up more breakfast buffets in your home...

I just back from vacation, stayed at a hotel that had free breakfast from 6-9. I was in that hotel for a full week, didn't make it to breakfast once. Felt like a waste of money, waking up at noon and walking to a breakfast place nearby, but I'd rather pay for a meal than wake up early so

That and you pay good money to go on vacation. Why would you waste it sleeping, which you can do anywhere?
but you can't do it anywhere. you have work, responsibilities. the whole point of vacation is to take a break.

... because you want to or because breakfast ends before you normally get up?

If I am on vacation I miss about 95% of all breakfasts in Hotels. They are too early.
And if it is a free breakfast it usually is garbage anyways.
There are exceptions but they are very rare.

Absolutely not the case for me personally. If it were I'd just stay home and save the money then.

This is the way, I retired at 35 and am now 59. I don't have enough hours on the day to do all the stuff I want to do. I start between 7-10am though.
-
Just how late do you wake up?
I often stay at hotels for work, and by 8AM I'm leaving so I can be wherever I need to be at by 9, so yeah, breakfast needs to be around 7h30.
Even at home this is a usual schedule, since commuting is a pain.
By 10AM at the latest probably most places also need to wrap up service so they can clear up and prepare to serve lunches in a couple of hours.
It's not that unreasonable...
- I don't go on vacation to work. I go on vacation to relax. The work phone stays off while I'm away from home.
- I work afternoons, so on an average workday I go to bed around 3:30-4:30a and get up around noon. I would never work a job that requires me to get up before then. The only people who get up in the morning are old people, workaholics, and people with kids. I am none of these.
