          Hints for improving the algorithm:

          1. From your watch history, delete videos that are too similar to the ones you don't want to watch.

          2. Use the triple dot menu under the video suggestion to tell them you're not interested. Choosing a reason is not necessary, but you can pick one if it fits.

          3. If you think you're going to lose out on something by doing the above, add the video to a playlist first. Not the Watch Later list. Make a new one.

          4. Check your previously made playlists for content you've forgotten about. This might only apply if you did step 3 at some point previously.

Each show is unique, from what I see in the comments. I feel like he's not doing the traditional 'write a set' thing, but he works backwards from an idea ("America feels like a Dollar General nowadays", for example) and has the ability to conjure an hour of almost shaggy-dog-story material on the spot leading you to that endpoint.

            Rare talent.

How To Say Your Favourite Colour And Not Embarrass Yourself This is the funniest and most relatable rant I've come across in a while, it probably won't hit as hard if you're not a neurotic overthinker though.

Adventures In State Space This is an incredibly well edited video talking about a very interesting maths thing. You don't have to know why/how the math thing works to enjoy the video. He has other good ones too like where he fucks with a Mandelbrot/Julia set.

Space Station Weird is a bunch of short animations set in the distant future on a very weird space station.

WatchDust is the main page for a channel with a curated selection of independently made short scifi films. Many are really good.

Soggy Rock Facts To Dazzle Your Enemies This is Sage The Bad Naturalist's channel and she's a very smart and interesting person who talks about science.

Brick Immortar produces incredibly high-quality and detailed documentaries of naval accidents.

Badempanada produces really well-written video essays on all sorts of political-adjacent stuff, usually with the intent to tear down the western world’s propaganda wall.

Gtrippin is a super small channel but they do incredible psychedelics simulators. Link due to small size

In this video, we explore the mystery of spinors! What are these strange, surreal mathematical things? And what role do they play in physical reality? We'll talk about the algebra of SO(3) and SU(2), and the profound physical implications of spinors, particularly as it relates to spin-statistics and the stability of matter!

It's a client for following creators across platforms while the user retains control. YouTube is one of the platforms Grayjay can access but you don't have to let YouTube play adverts, track you, etc. It lets users turn the screen off and keep playing audio, bypass intros or sponsored ads, download whole videos, and other quality of life features.

You can also avoid YouTube entirely and only stream from PeerTube, NewPipe, SoundCloud, etc. You just tap the plugins you want and it respects your choices.

It's still under active development during an ongoing arms race with YouTube but I've been using it for over a year and have only encountered two bugs that kept me from using it. It's been a refreshing experience overall and I find myself watching more of the stuff I care about, more meaningfully supporting the artists I care about, and disallowing Google to abuse those interactions.

I'm not affiliated with them in any way. Just a happy convert.

Any Austin is pretty great, he talks about videogames but more like checking the unemployment levels in skyrim or following powerlines in GTA to see if the infrastructure makes sense

                                          VideoGameDunkey is a certified classic

MiniMinuteMan does some cool paleontology videos, as well as some good conspiracy debunking

Explosions&Fire is a chaotic Australian chemistry channel (along with the sister channel Extractions&Ire).

Rybonator makes custom dice from resin and is a great choice for DnD fans and dice goblins

Natural Habitat Shorts is a hilarious animation channel that focuses on real animal facts
