Tesla pulls out all the stops as Cybertruck sales grind to a halt

Is no social media a red flag?
To a lot of people yes, but I think they're more worried there's nothing that proves you're a real person, if that makes sense.
I see it as a liability more than anything. Your data is forever.

Is this the one they let musk design? Feels like a Simpsons episode...
Personally, I'm holding out for the Tesla minivan.

Deplorian... Made me snarf. My previous go to, overheard a while back, Incel Camino.
oh I like that! Good trade.

Electic motors are unmatched for torque and response time. No debate there but if you need to tow a big ass camper your range is going to suck if you dont have some hybrid config.
Yup, not your use case.

The Lightning really is a nice looking truck.

CybertruckDeplorian— not so much… -
At least the Wolkswagen was egineered properly. I don't see anyone continuing to use this design after the war.
Well that was designed by one of the GOATs - Ferdinand Porsche

Although not popular to admit it at 39,999 I'd very much consider one because there aren't many new electric truck around that price. Now a new F-150 lighting would take that spot for me without much consideration. At 75k for the f150 and 80+k for a cybertruck there is no way I'd get either.
I just don't know how people can afford personal cars vehicles for that much. Judging by sales, most people can't.
For what it was spec'd at originally, I think more people would have been willing to consider it than would like to admit, assuming the other trucks were still priced as is.

The best thing they could do for their sales is get rid of all ties to Elon Musk.
Instead they did the opposite and gave him the biggest bonus in world history.

Strange I see them everywhere
Do you by chance live in a high CoL area?

Yep, what else could you call it? It's not a hatchback, a sedan, a convertible, a sports car, etc.
Hakencruiser

I do, and even the bougie "conservative" assholes aren't that interested. They're more the decked out F-whatever and gas guzzler types.
I don't like to say it but a third party dealership was selling some painted ones that actually looked pretty nice. Nice enough to make me think that maybe the plan was always to pass on the cost to the buyer, it's so much better.
Or maybe it was just a talented... car painter? Is that a thing when they're just working with flat panels and no design?

No East Coast

No thank you. I don't want a swasticar.
I'd love to have one of those new production old style beetles. But we can't buy them here because our govt sucks donkey dick.

I'll admit it: a $30k EV with 600 miles of range? You'd be an idiot to not consider that, until it was proven to be bullshit and Elon was proven to be a full-on fascist.

Even if you ignore the politics it's just a terrible car that is way too expensive. I'm honestly surprised it sold any units at all but I guess people just like vanity toys.

Hmm, it's kind of like he has an established MO for when his businesses are failing due to his own poor decisions and lack of business sense.
Nononono.
It's that woke mind virus! Those infectious liberals have prevented true patriots from buying his shitty cars to proposely smash their fingers in the trunk.

Who the hell buys a cybertruck anyway ?
Obviously no one, hence the article.
