I've fucked around with that thought a ton and I don't think it's true at all. Shawn always just ends up the same mullato looking baby and old man as if you didnt change anything with Nate and Nora at all.
Then again, it could just be broken like so many other things like the radio only ever playing the same 3 songs despite having a total of like 15 tracks it should be playing.

I can do a fairly decent Kronk impression. I often ramble to myself in the super market in Kronk when the isle is empty but i can hear someone in the other isle's near me.

Now hold up, there is a pretty clear cadence and tone difference between Kronk and Joe. Joe is not a himbo, he takes himself seriously and is often sick of Peter’s shit. Kronk is more like MCU Thor, he’s an airhead. The two talk quite differently

I'm pretty sure Shawn's look is defined by what you did in the mirror - if you change the appearance while getting the lift out of the vault (which is what I suspect most people do), it won't change his appearance. Also, keep in mind you can't change the partner, so that sets up some of his looks in stone

You can switch between both Nate and Nora at the mirror to change both of them, regardless of who you end up choosing to play as. OP's screenshot even shows this.

I meant that you can't change the partner when you're prompted at the lift
