Yeah. This is super interesting but I want a source and methodology before I really take it seriously.

I know you're looking for real sources, but my own personal source as an American is my English sister-in-law that specifically asks for us to send her giant blocks of Velveeta cheese when we come to visit and who specifically eats all the things that are banned over there when she comes to visit us. Very small sample size so take it with a grain of salt.

Good find, the data isn't very trustworthy as it comes from different studies each done on a national level. Also, oldest study is from 1991 (!) and newest is from 2004. Would be interesting to see how it compares to current day data, I guess in some countries a lot more changes happened than others.
