Pretty sure with the current ongoing conflicts, WWIII has already kicked off and we just haven't fully accepted it yet.
wrote on last edited by [email protected]I mean, if we're truly keeping count then I think we're up to WW5 at this point.
- WW3 = Cold War
- WW4 = War on Terror
- WW5 = America: The Nazi Years

You think THAT'S an unpopular opinion? I personally think that they should never even have made the first one.

So just driving under a truck, or drifting is cool, but jumping a building to blow up a helicopter with your car is dumb? Whatever.

Yeah, the best way to make a bad movie good is to make it into a farce*, whether on purpose or not.
Examples include: Crossroads, Commando, The Room
*though there are of course truly great (and usually criminally underrated) movies that were farces on purpose from the start

First one is like a time capsule of street racing and car culture of the moment. It was better because it was grounded in reality. The driving and stunts were cool because they were believable. The new stuff is just over the top action.
To each their own

On a side note: I'm already starting to read moths instead of months in other posts titles. It's starting to take effect.

I consider ww3 started back in 22 when Russia invaded ukraine, like how ww2 should count from when japan invaded china

The first one shows a criminal gang and you know they’re serious because they have a truck full of stolen dvd players..it’s a great product of its time

And War 10. We're skipping War 9 because the number nine sounds too much like "death" in some languages and the marketing team likes big round numbers.

I thought it was because "War 9" is too similar to "Win 9" or Windows 9x. This could cause software compatibility issues so its best to just skip straight from 8 to 10.
