Wife: I'll just do it myself
-
Great, now Iโm in trouble and I have to worry about her falling off the ladder.
(TikTok screencap)When a man says he will do something, he will. There is no reason to remind him every year.

the plan all along.
I meanโฆproblem solved? Three more created for later but hey that job got done

(TikTok screencap)Imagine an adult wanting something done and just going to do it themselves

It's never about the thing that needs to get done.

(TikTok screencap)I support her adulting 100%, unless she was expecting someone else to do it for her.

Imagine an adult wanting something done and just going to do it themselves
Imagine an adult having to do everything because their spouse is incapable of contributing.

I know right? Like how dare a wife ask her life partner for help with something in their shared home?

That sounds like a Red Green quote!

Because failure at this point means you're in the doghouse until forgiven.

Totally. Have you ever been in a partnership though?

I'm a millennial woman with male gen X and boomer direct reports at work. This is their strategy for literally everything. "But youuuuu do it so much beeeeeeeter....!!!!! (Whaaa, whaaa, work is haaaaaard...)"
My strategy is scheduling mandatory training meetings early Saturday morning for anything that can't be done because "Don't know how.. ๐ฅบ".

Oh are you saying this meme is actually about someone being shitty to their partner? That isn't very funny.

Which one am I in this example?

Eh, a wife doesn't ask. She'll hint, insinuate, glare and talk around the subject all day long but without outright asking, until hitting a breaking point to then get angry why it's not done yet.

What a neat way to tell people that you donโt respect women.

Sounds like Al Bundy to me.

It was, till it was put off and ignored so many times that it became about that instead.
