Hey, I'm looking for some kind of way to be able to remotely turn my car alarm on/off, and also possibly be notified about activity and motion around my car.

Any ideas for reliable stuff like this please?

I need it because of serious issues with people vandalizing my car

Systems with remote start and proximity alarms do exist, but aren't the greatest when they're aftermarket (not a manufacturer system), and can cause all sorts of electrical problems if they're not installed correctly.

If the problem is happening in one spot it'd be better to put a camera and motion detector light up.

Maybe? But they require driving it every day to recharge them....

            Also they don't notify you
