          Years ago we had a hedgehog wander into garden just at dusk. My cat, who was always very curious, followed the hedgehog around for about 45 minutes as it rooted around for things. The hedgehog did not care at all when my cat sniffed him and (gently) touched him/her with his paws. They do not care.

                I remember actually picking one up once to tickle its belly 🥰 but they're usually infested with lice, and anyhow it's probably not something one should do to wild animals.

                      Can't tell personally from the pic, don't know what kind tgey are either, but female hedgehogs are usually quite a bit larger than their male counterparts
