Yes yes, Americans bad. I know it would've been more work, but if you listed literally any force that is holding Americans back from organizing this would be a productive discussion.
But I get it. I get much less of a dopamine hit from trying to have a nuanced take too. I get the urge to post rage bait about folks I haven't empathized with. It just feels bad to be thrown under the bus in such a reductive and unproductive way.

The range of opinions on this issue for republicans is between "yeah toss them all in camps!!!" And "noooooo don't take away my slaves!" and they think they still deserve to be regarded as good people with opinions worth respecting.

It's not that most republicans are racist, its that most racist are republican.
I disagree.
Perhaps that were true a decade ago.
At this point though I don't think supporting the republicans is really defensible.
As in, anyone who is not racist would not support this.
