Am I the only one who takes some issue with tokers being portrayed as divorced from reality? You're a lot more likely to do those kinds of things under the influence of alcohol than thc.
I'm usually still pretty functional but theres the odd strain that takes 20 points off my IQ for 4 hours.

it's kinda a trope going back to 60s but even further to reafer madness and basically it nickname is a slur on Mexicans. Alcohol has for sure made people do way more stupid shit and too much will kill you. there's probably only been a small handful of people that have died from consumption of cannabis.
it's propaganda that weed makes you stupid. it does mess with your short term memory and it does affect your behavior. and anything smoking related is unhealthy but fucking a, you are absolutely correct
My understanding is its impossible to overdose but if you smoke so much you get no oxygen, then you can die from that? Its one of the safest chemicals when it comes to dose limits, even chocolate is more dangerous in that respect.

wrote last edited by [email protected]You could theoretically die of carbon monoxide poisoning from smoking too much cannabis, but you could just as easily die of carbon monoxide poisoning by smoking too much of any other plant matter (and 'too much' is a lot, like a physically difficult to smoke amount)
