I’ll post my story about fixing a router here since I’ve been struggling with it for the past two weeks. After much troubleshooting with my ISP, testing with a whole other computer that somehow managed to get a gigabit link I was confused at why my router was not getting a gigabit link from the wan. What ended up being the problem was a poor termination on one of the ethernet ports in the wall. If I had been able to think about it without stressing about the limited time to work on it, I would’ve realized that yeah that made sense because when I went straight from the ISP box into another computer I was able to get the giga bit link. Either way I re-terminated a good bit of my cabling and now I get a great link on my router. Here’s to 500 Mb per second in a 200 person town.

Grenadine is pomegranate flavor, not cherry. Though if you get Rose's it's citric acid flavor.

Appreciate the suggestions! I love the idea of a modular 1u panel that can swap in various small devices. I think if I had to, I could probably manage to model up something custom, but that is bordering on being not-dull...

I did in the end end up painting it a nice blue colour with a rust protect metallic paint. First layer looked awful, second layer looked quite nice already, but I'm gonna add a third one today. The paint can recommended 3 layers for proper rust proof, so that's what I'm going by.

I suppose I could wear my prosthetic. They actually gave me two, one is kind of mouthguard style and the other is basically a denture, and I much prefer the former.

Serious answer is mostly paper-ish...cardboard, boxboard, flour bags. Recycling where I am is limited; plus I have 'issues' with the net carbon footprint of established 'recycling programs'... Sorry, I digress....

Weights are great because as a newbie If you even brush against a barbell or some dumbbells you're gonna grow like a weed. It's very satisfying

Don't rule out running still! Cycling and swimming are both great but - especially as we age - our bone density tends to decrease and minor falls (or from a bike) can cause bigger issues.

There are grinder cleaners that are basically coffee beans made of cleaner that you can order from any place that sells coffee equipment. You grind the cleaner then grind a batch of sacrificial beans and you're good to go.

I've added some easy conditioning days between my lift days and it's real nice!
