Honestly none. I don'y have thr expendable income to do that.
If I had, it couled easilly be 50+ youtubers, podcasters open source software devs, ...

Defunctland and Technology Connectios. I just really want those dudes to keep making stuff. A 2 hour documentary on the history and merits of the FastPass system at Disneyland or how a dishwasher works is soooooo my cup of tea.

None and I never would.
Edit: Goddamn you Zoomers are such cuckolds. Go pay for mods or w/e y'all do. We used to laugh at the idea of this.

Are you ok?
Yeah? Ofc.
I'm just disappointed that people are so gullible as to donate to multi-millionaire YouTubers and other e-celebs and content slop farms they form these so-called "parasocial bonds" with, addicted to consuming algorithmically driven content on big tech platforms and enriching their "betters".
To go out of their way to hand more money over to rich people at any opportunity from subscriptions to ads to this, for increasingly less and less value. To bend over backwards just because they got a little hit of dopamine because of some pattern of blue light on a computer monitor dancing to the tune of our ailing civilization.
Each to their own of course, but goddamn I wish people were better. It's like the whole world went crazy. Maybe it always was. Most people feel like aliens who make no sense, who's perspective I can't even fathom, whether it's the internet or IRL, and reasonable people seem few and far between.
Each thing like this, another stick upon the camel's back. Another bit of disappointment. Another weary sigh, yet we press on. Thanks for asking.

Atlas himself cowers at the sheer burden of hearing about people donating to content creators they like.

Yeah, something like that. I'm a sheltered little piss baby. But I'd like to know the rationale.

...what's hard to understand about people donating to those who make content they enjoy or tools they use? It's not that complicated. Not every Youtuber is Mr. Beast.

This wasn't a thing until like 2 years ago and I've no idea why it's become a thing at all. I've never once had the desire to donate to some "creator" on the internet nor known anyone who has.
