I feel weird about this sort of joke because it's exactly the same kind of humour the right wing has been using about the left for decades. Its almost like a "boy who cried wolf" sort of situation except it was the wolves who were crying

As a non-US citizen I find putting up a political sign in your own yard, whatever side you on, is pretty fucking weird.
