Totally not, and not yours to judge.

I go naked in front of men, I’m seen by men, some of which like what they see, some of which react in some way. I like that, fine. I don’t like that, well then I don’t go naked in front of men. That easy.

So you're saying a person's state of dress or undress is responsible for the reactions of her surroundings?

Not the op, but did want to throw in a comment because I see this sentiment thrown around a lot as if it absolves all personal responsibility.

Responsible for the actions of others? Never.

Encourages those with poor self control? It absolutely can.

It's a very dangerous position to take that you can do whatever you want, wear whatever you want, and say whatever you want and face no consequences.

Should someone be assaulted because of what they are wearing? Of course not. Are they responsible for anothers choice to assault them? Again, no. Do they have some responsibility to keep themselves safe and not provoke those who might do them harm? Yes.

It doesn't guarantee their safety, but we all must do what we can to protect ourselves from bad actors. Whether that's not provoking a violent person, or not parading nude in front of a rapist.

You're not responsible for the behavior of others, but you can take steps to mitigate their interactions with you. Pretending otherwise just puts you in harms way.

I don't get why she didn't just take the complaint and move on. He wasn't pestering her. I feel like the group probably pressured her into action based on his perspective.

IMO dude shouldn't have bothered. Just keep the memory and move on.

Its a shame we live in an age where you can't compliment anyone anymore without being attacked.

I bet if an attractive 20s dude said the same line (minus the old fart bit) and walked away it wouldn't have gone down like that.
